For modelling realistic military vehicles or vehicles in general I need to setup blueprints as reference images in the background
So far I have figured out the best way would be to use png images with alpha channel and put them into the display options - Background Image (one per view)

Put now i am facing a problem:
I am used to zoom into areas for detailed modelling.
When i zoom in/out, the image stays the same size while only the scene is becoming bigger/smaller.

Blender behaves differently, and zooms reference images same amount as the scene in orthogonal projection. I would prefer this behaviour but have not found the option switch yet.

Aditionally i need the images to match their position, so moving up/left/right/down should also move the image, not only the scene.

Can you please assist oder give any advice?

Your Answer will be highly appreciated
