How to change keyframes from stepped to spline

The stepped keyframe may be required for a certain animated value. For instance, a check box can only be stepped and not interpolated. But you can use CTRL-A to select all keyframes and then choose another function type from the drop down in the lower right-hand corner of the Animation Editor.
