Hi there!

Im fairly new to Houdini, therefore sorry if this is a noob question, but i could not find any solution online.
Here is my problem:

Im creating a Box as a Polygon Mesh with 17, 17, 17 Divisions.

I then added a texture to it and UVed it so the texture matches the Box. Afterwards i added a Attribute Randomize for the Attribute zscale so i can scale the extrusion randomly.

But as you can see, the extruded parts dont have a texture. Is there a way to tell houdini to use the Color of the primitives as the color for the new extruded parts?

Thanks!

This should work with the default settings of Polyextrude (except for setting the zscale attribute to control distance, of course). I've attached an example. If you are still having trouble with this, please attach your hip file so we can take a look at what might be going wrong.
