Crowd Foot Locking issue

Hi everyone! I'm setting up a crowd sim and encountering this kind of stacking behavior. This happens when the Foot locking is active, this does not happen with every agent which use the same clip, the clips differs by color for clarify.
why does this happen? is there any way to eliminate this effect?

It looks like a problem with the collision there, but I am not the crowd expert, so it might be something else. Did you try to up res the terrain?

no, that's not a case, there are no collisions in this

If you're using the default foot locking way, you'll want to go to the foot_plant_channels chopnet that gets automatically created if you press the Create Foot Plant CHOP Network button on the Agent Prep. That defaults to speed threshold, but if you want you can change it to distance from terrain. Either way you probably have to tweak those settings and possibly on a clip to clip basis. The thing that's annoying and apparently still exists in 18.5, is every time you change the chop settings, you have to click Reload Clips on your Agent Prep sop.
