Hi,
I am creating a vellum cloth simulation for a research project and I am having a problem with the Planar patch from curves not creating on the seams group that would be needed for draping. It only creates a group that is the outer points around the edge of the plane. At first, I thought it was because I applied a mirror sop then fuse so I disabled both but that doesn't seem to be the reason. I have tried everything I can think of even starting afresh, cross-checking tutorials and articles to see what I missed, installed a more recent version of 18.5 in case it was a bug causing it but nothing seems to work. I don't know what I am doing wrong or I might have omitted when creating the panel. I have attached images of when the mirror sop is active and not active to show the issue.
Thanks in advance

P.S - I am new to the use of Houdini/procedural workflow

Hello
You've got to have your group name before the planar patch from curve and it will keep it
their is only in the simple planar patch that you can have pre made group by side.
