I'm inheriting a layout of Native Instances of prototypes from a USD import. I don't have access to the original setup for the instancing. How can I visualize a prototype at the origin?

Create a new prim that has a reference to the prototype and explicitly set it's xformOpOrder to be empty?

Not having any luck with this. Referencing a Prototype indeed creates a new prim (wherever I want in the scenegraph), but the new prim remains invisible.

You can use a Configure Primitive LOP to make a primitive visible.

The invisible state was being inherited from the parent Prototypes prim. Setting Prototypes vis to 'inherited' allows me to see the prototype.
