Unity sends incremented version's of my HDA's back to H19

I'm using Unity 2021.3.4f1 and Houdini 19.0.561
When I load my HDA into Unity and start working with it. if I make any changes to in Houdini, save node type, it starts incrementing versions of the same prefab instead of updating the one I'm working with, suddenly I've got versions 4,5,6,7,8,9, (once Unity updates it, it sends back to houdini with the incremented version. )
I hope I'm describing this clearly. But Unity sends back to Houdini the incremented versions of the HDA.
My HDA is called instanced_prefabs4 in this screen shot. A single change generated prefabs5. This immediately becomes unmanageable.
What am I missing ?
