I am using the flip SOP and flip boundary SOP to source my geo which has a initial velocity but I can't find a way to inject it on the source as an initial velocity attribute, does it need a velocity field for that or can it can sample it's points velocity? is there a easy way to do that?

And how to apply attributes on just born particles?

Thanks?

In the old setup if I just have velocities on the source points on SOP level it carries to the just born particles in the sim DOP, with the new Flip SOP I could not find a way to do that since it is all encapsulated in to the Flip Boundary sop.

Is there a way to carry the velocities through without having to hack it?

I hope there was more control on this new workflow since I prefer to use those SOP DOPs tools, but unfortunately for the Flip SOP tools I am finding hard to use it.

Update.

Oh I figured it out, my velocities were not being transfer through for some reason then I recreated the nodes and it seems to be working now.

But I can not make the flip boundary SOP as "sink" work, it is not making my particles disappear using geometry or a sdf plugged in.

Anyone else having this issue?

I am using version build 435.

So flip boundary SOP on "sink" is not working, need to hack it to fix.
