i notice amazing problem in ubuntu 22.04 in houdini 19.5
(the cpu: 5950 and gpu: 7900 xtx)

before i installed amd proprietary drivers (version 23.20) the number of cores is 32



after i install amd proprietary drivers the number of cores is 16




anyone notice this problem in ubuntu+amd?

SMT got disabled? There should be options, look maybe in the bios/uefi.

It's enabled in bios and it's enabled in Ubuntu configuration .

i checked also in blender cpu mode and blender use ALL 32 threads but houdini only detect and using 16 threads with amd proprietary drivers in ubuntu.
This is very strange problem and I have no idea why this is happening

*** its only happen with amd proprietary driver BUT when i install amd open source drivers its detect and using all 32 threads but there is small and annoying bugs with amd open source drivers(or RADV) ***.
