I hope they finally improved the vulkan/viewport/karma xpu stability and performance.
Because vulkan compare to opengl in vram and performance are much worse than opengl

I agree with your point of view, but short mobile dramas are relatively easy to monetize now. For example, our company is currently working on AI-generated 3D animated short films. First, we generate single frames of characters using AI, then we build simple scenes in 3D software, and we also filmed dynamic footage with real people. Finally, we put everything into AI to replace the characters and refine the visuals. I think that driven by profit, this could indeed have a negative impact on the traditional CG industry.

about the cg industry ,well everyone think that AI will kill DCC software
i think the moment that AI will be aggressively implemented in DCC software it will be the other way around.

because who can compete using AI within 3d software and with all its functionality of 3d software?

Fewer people will be willing to learn 3D software like Houdini in the future, as traditional pipelines are gradually being superseded by AI-driven workflows. It’s a disheartening trend.

why? do you think that sidefx can't implement AI inside houdini? or any other dcc software company ?
why people think that AI engine only live on web application? its not.

right now it depent what sidefx will do , Imagine what happen if AI will go inside houdini or other dcc software.
