Poly Reduce Introducing UV cuts

If I have a selection of prims and then poly reduce that I'm getting uv cuts introduced into this area. I'm on Houdini 18. Any solutions for this?

After the poly reduce add a "UVfuse" node....distance tab, activate distance toggle.
