[SOLVED] How to change UV Edit pivot?

Has anybody found a way to change pivot location in the UV Edit SOP? "Insert" key, doesn't work, orientation picking only translates the selection, and modification of px, py and pz parameter doesn't have any effect whatsoever.

For the time being, my workaround is to edit UVs in world space as Pand move Pdata to uvafterward. Somewhat ridiculous, but at least I can manipulate the pivot of each selected UV island.

I'll send an RFE regarding this issue.

Just like in the 3D viewport, pressing the apostrophe key will toggle pivot translate mode. Move it where you want then press apostrophe again.

Sorry to revive an old thread but while that method will affect the pivot for the handle in the viewport it wont actually update the pivot parameter, so you can't adjust things in the parameter pane for fine changes.

Is there a way to move the pivot in the viewport that actually updates the pivot parameter?

My current workaround is:
  • Snap the pivot where I want it.
  • Right Click -> Handle Parameters
  • Copy and Paste the Handle Pivot into the Pivot Parameter

Might need to submit an RFE unless I'm missing something obvious.
