OTIS BUG??

I’m not sure if this is a bug, or if I might be misunderstanding the intended behaviour. When painting a specific region to limit the effect locally, it doesn’t seem to work as expected with Tissue properties (OTIS). In particular, when using Shrinkage — either through *Tissue Core Rest Scale* or *Tissue Rest Scale* — the painted region does not appear to restrict the effect to that area only.

Has anyone else encountered this, or is there a recommended approach for achieving region-specific shrinkage with the Tissue setup?

There is a known bug where this doesn't work if you are working with fascia only. If you are working with full tissue it is meant to work. Are you sure you don't need to recache your strokes for your attribute paint?

I just tested it in the t-rex scene you uploaded and it works for me. It obviously will affect all points in the sim because if some points change, everything else also changes. But I can see that it is only shrinking in the painted regions.
