does sidefx have any technical papers re its implementation of global illumination in houdini?

any links?

No, not right now.

In the latest Houdini6.0.286 there are some on-line html help files on it but no technical white paper right now.

If you have any questions, just ask in the technical forum.

There's at least one school like the old school!

There is also the html help on VEX in general in $HFS/houdini/vex/html/. Not a white paper but you can glean a lot of info by the functions that are used and how they are accessed by mantra.

There's at least one school like the old school!
