I have installed that new build and each time it gives me:
Houdini Console:
enumadapters error. Code 232
1428: fatal error egmentation fault

Graphic Card PNY Geforce GT 220 1GB RAM
Nvidia display drivers: 259.96

I don't have that problem with build 11.0.497
with same display drivers.

I replace the followings file in 11.0.504 with the files of 11.0.497:
hmaster.exe
hmaster.exe.manifest
hmaster-ng.exe
hmaster-ng.exe.manifest

and build 11.0.504 is working

No, you should never replace files in the /bin folder. That is asking for unexpected behavior.

I would try a more recent build like 11.0.512. Navigate to Support > Downloads and scroll down the page until you see “Daily Builds”.

If 11.0.512 gives you the same problem then you may want to stick with 497 until you can get this sorted out.

Cool. I had the same problem on a machine yesterday and this fixed it.
