Thank you for suggesting
well , yeah i believe u r right, a 17.3 “ screen is way much better than 15.6”
and actualy that why i was thinking about when i choosed Alienware M17x or Macbook pro 17.
but when i though about it i realized that a 15.6 “ is a good when iam not home or office, for light weight and mobility , specialy that the houdini very good interface is well made to be customizable , but if home or office i can use and external big display , i have a 19 ” .
Thank you

Thank you for Replyoing , so yeah i decided on the Extreme processor ,
For capacity , i can order 8GB Ram , and get an SSD 160 GB , and RAM can be upgraded too , and alot cheaper in my country than Buying SSD .
but yet 160 GB is much less capacity for a laptop , dont u think so ?
besides in the w520 , if i dont get raid while buying it , i will not be able to get it later , they dont ship the raid controller with non enabled raid computers and if i enabled raid i will lose my DVD , lol , so iam not gonna enable raid ,
but i willnot use the raid if i get 160 GB SSD ,is it possible that i can still remove the DVD myself and put another HDD for example ?

thanx for answering ……
so i shouldnt go for the extreme processor ?
because if i dont i might be able to get a good SSD too with my system
, or else maybe a Dual HDD With Raid0 by the way how good is the dual HDD with Raid 0 Compared to the SSD ?
Thanx again … i know i ask too many questions

thank you very much for replying guys ,
well i guess u r right about looks, the macbook pro looks more better ..but the alienware doesnt look that bad though , i dont care that much , after all iam not buying a good hardware laptop everday . iam not that rich ….
and i have superstitious believing that the bulky and big laptops are more trusted ….
about the Precision M6500 i already checked it is realy good but it is realy expensive , i realy cannot afford buying it as my budget is 3,500 US $ ,
i also checked the thinkpad w520 workstation realy nice but has 15.6" screen and Quadro 2000M Graphics with 2GB DDR3 , and the good new Extreme processor Core i7-2920XM ,
so how is the the Quadro 2000M is compared to the AlienWare VGA Cards ?
but another Question when it comes to Alienware M17x i have one of two options about VGA card either :
2GB DDR5 AMD Radeon HD6970M which is realy powerful OR ….
1.5GB DDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX460M which 3D vision enabled comes with 120Hz screen and 3D glasses which is realy fantastic ……..
how much performance difference i can get from the 6970M when working on 3D modelling or animation ?????? also i believe the Radeon 6970M supports 3D too , so i can glasses later , but is it gonna be good oin 60Hz screen , as i only can buy the 120 Hz with NVIDIA ???
so which one i should go for ???? realy tough decesion here too … please help on that ….
sorry if i asked alot of Questions ……..
Thanx
