Hi Enivob!! Thank you for your reply.. I went back to check my geo 1 and also try the exclude … but it still carries both my VDB object and ground plane as a ghost black objects in the scene… I try to use the facet sop and check the post computer normal but it will just put the particle texture back to the plane and the skull obj.( instead of black)… Here are more screen shots….

Dear All:
I was trying out the new ocean FX preset “ ocean wave” in Houdini 13 but can't see the displacement map via my mantra render or ipr preview. I can only see the wave displacement via my view port and keep getting :
mantra: unable to load the texture 0001.pic.
Can anyone help me out?
I am using non-commercial education version.
Thanks you

Dear All:
I am creating a smoke container and also emit a particle from an object. I would like to link the smoke fluid to that particle so I could have the particle moves along with the smoke field.
Could you please show me a way to accomplish this task?
Like in Maya, I just need to link the regular particle to the fluid field under the dynamic relationship editor..
I would like my houdini particle moves like smoke..
thank you so much.

Dear all:
I was working on this gasdiffuse and get a pretty good result. However, it only works with colors…
Is there any way I can also work with the shop materials? I can apply like plastic material to the fluid geometry, however, can not make the gasdiffuse works with two different materials….
Or is there any node I should use to perfectly merge two materials in the same way just like the color merging in my attached file.
Thank you for your time.^^

Technical Discussion » Beginner question ~ Liquid Fluid

Dear all:
I have a question about the liquid fluid container. When I create a container and move it around, I can't see the default blue mesh. Not with the liquid from object nor source from object. Do I have to add another node?
Also, when I look at the network view / obj , there is one fluid_object node. However, inside the autodot, there is another node “ fluid”. Which one should I use for translating the fluid container?
Thank you so much for you time to help me.
