Hmm, well I'll log it as a bug though by the sounds of it it should be a known issue, and I haven't seen any issue log as yet…

Yes, I can render via those controls as well, but I'm referring to the Render View pane which is available as a Pane Tab. You can add it by clicking on the plus sign if it's not there by default.
I gather it's meant to render automatically as you move objects and lights around in a Scene View or wherever. All I get is blackness…
This is a nice feature in XSI. Does anyone use this in Houdini?

Hi,
I've spent a couple of hours on this and I can't get the Render View pane to show anything other than the black background colour.
I've created basic scene with a mantra node and selected it in the Output Driver drop down.
Could someone give simple steps to achieve this.
I'll attach my scene for what it's worth…
