Thinner Fluid

The voxel based fluids are quite thick right out of the box, even with viscosity set to 0. I've tried adjusting all of the parameters on the solver and the fluid object that I thought would be useful but none of them seem to really get the fluid thinner. It just looks like thick cream instead of water. Does anyone know how to get it any thinner so it moves more like water, i.e. pulls apart more easily, sheets, etc. I would think there would even be a way to make it so thin that it has difficulty even staying together.

Hi Thanos,

Turn the res up. The finer the res, the thinner the fluid.

Heh, and the slower the calculation times….

cheers,

The res does not make the fluid any thinner, it only makes it more high res. The fluid still moves like thick cream not water.

At the DOP network level, increase the scale time factor to 1.5, 2 etc.
