Point normal blending

Hi,
I have a couple of copied objects which fall into surface points of another object.
I am trying to alight the normal of the copied objects to the ones in the surface points.

Does any one out there have a good solution ??

Make sure your object has pont normals.

Point SOP > Add Normals.

If you are using a copy SOP, then your objects should automatically align to the normals of the other object if you have “Transform using template point attributes” checked.

The copy SOP show's good results when the objects are copied directly onto its surface, but in this case the instances land on the object surface.

I have tried using point to transfer the normals from the object to the instances, but the instances approach the object facing in the wrong direction.

I need the instances to align to the normals of the object as the approach it…
