Dear All,
I've been testing our code and demos with Houdini 11, and I've found a strange behavior with the UV Quick Shade that was not there in Houdini 10. Basically, textures now show a shear in the horizontal direction. For you to see, I'm attaching a very simple example with a 3x3 squares grid with the node connected to it. When loading this in Hou 10, everything goes fine. But in Houdini 11 the textures look weird. By the way, when loading in Hou 11 I get a warning concerning a “Problem while synchronizing child node” with a parm “refl_bias” inside the quick shade, but this cannot be the problem as I have a texturing coordinates problem, not an appearance problem…
I've been testing with different images, and this problem does not always happen. It seems to be image-dependent… Weird, did not happen before (Hou 10)…
Ideas?
best regards
