Dear Forumers,

How do I enable motion blur on a flip fluid?

Have searched on topic to no avail.

Hi Nick if you use the shelf tools to create your flip fluid you will see in the created particle fluid geometry node the attribute V gets transferred onto the polygon soup object.

Hey Rob,

Long time

I did do that (used flip fluid from object) AND checked this attr transfer after reading a post here.

Still no joy.

Any ideas?

Geometry container > sampling tab , check on > geometry velocity blur and make sure motion blur is checked on in the mantra ROP .
Yes its been a while , took a break from Houdini > back for the next couple of weeks. I am diving into Flip myself right now.

Simple settings for jitter free. Things to bear in mind > Add some stick on collision adjust what happens to the vel when the flip particle its the collision.

Brilliant was just struggling with this on a shallow-water sim. Enabled stick-on-collision and its much better.
