I have a shader .idx preset file thats not loading where I would expect. I have tried using $HOME /presets to pick it up but its still failing. Is there any way within Houdini to force load it or any other debug approaches.

Since it's shader preset so it should be inside $HOME/houdiniXX.0/presets/Shop.
