Dear Forumers,

YAY… My CGI course has got around to Houdini week. This is awesome because I love Houdini, and is also helpful because I was stressing and having such troubles because of not really understanding the fundamentals.

Now with a solid base I look forward to using it more and more in the future.

I've been using Houdini for almost 11 years now…and I still feel like I only ever scratch the surface!!

We just had 4 visitors from The Mill swing by my simulations class here at Tribeca Flashpoint College. This class is rocking out. Doing everything from flip fluid, Pyro effects, advection, particles, and even a little VOPs. Some were talking about starting up a local user group. I know Rich from The Mill is all in. Anyone else in the Chicago area? Anyway, Houdini rocks!
