Hey guys
So I'm making these bottle water droplets in Mops,
and I want to squash them. so they wont be so round.
As Im doing a Randomize orientation after the Instancer,
I cant flatten them in the Instancer itself,
I need to do it after the rotation (and scale) operations.
How/what tool should I use for this?
Thanks!!

Can't you just use MOPs Transform to scale the instances down along the local Y axis?

If you need the droplets to actually deform rather than simply scale, you would have to unpack. Alternatively you could make an animation of a droplet starting flat and then swelling up, save it to an ABC, instance that, and then use MOPs Set Sequence Time to randomize the frame index of each instance. This is a cheap way of getting shape randomization, especially if it needs to animate.

Hi
I can scale them down, of course,
but once I add another Mops node after that,
the scale gets over ruled somehow,
I cant see why.
Thanks!

Try updating to a more recent version of MOPs. This is an older bug in MOPs Randomize that should have been fixed months ago
