Hi all!
Today I upgraded my PC CPU from Ryzen 3900xt to 5950x and based on benchmarks on VFXArabia (https://www.vfxarabia.co/post/houdini-benchmark-cores-vs-clockspeed-updated) I expected to see the same result, but so far I did all the benchmark files that VFXarabia provided and simulation times are ridiculously higher! for example for the FLIP sim(ocean 0.05 particle separation), based on benchmark it should be 24minutes but for me its 40minutes (attached)! This is so discouraging because my older 3900xt would perform faster than this!
Does anyone know why it would happen? would love to fix this.
Thanks!

Have you checked your task manager to see if it actually uses all of the CPU or to potentially identify a different bottleneck?
Maybe your motherboard needs a BIOS update to fully support the 5950X?
I upgraded from a 1700X to a 3950X and had no issues but the new 5xxx series is much more powerful so maybe the BIOS needs to adapt.
