SideFX is happy to announce the winners of the 2nd annual Houdini Game Jam! All of the games can be downloaded, and played for free on the Houdini Game Jam submissions page on Itch, information about how Houdini was used to make each game is available as well.
This tutorial series covers everything that you will likely ever need, to understanding how to create terrains in Houdini. Starting from foundation layer of HF nodes and their functions, to using generated masks to create textures in COPs, to scattering geometry using said-masks, to applying and rendering them in a LOPnet with Karma.
Join us at the Houdini HIVE: SIGGRAPH Asia 2021 for a full day of educational presentations by industry professionals. These will take place on December 14th at SIGGRAPH Asia in Tokyo where these pre-recorded presentations will be streamed online and broadcast to room G409 [4F Block]. On December 15th, the same presentations will be streamed using Youtube LIVE for people who are not able to make it to SIGGRAPH Asia.
