As a student, you have access to FREE Houdini Apprentice software. Validated students can also purchase an individual 1-year Houdini Education license. Combine this with a growing library of learning material and a community of Houdini Certified schools and training centers, and you have the resources to build your portfolio and achieve your career goals in Film, TV, Game Development, Visualization and more.

LICENSES
Students can download our free learning edition called Houdini Apprentice, which has all the features of Houdini FX but with some restrictions, such as limited-resolution watermarked rendering, and no functionality with the Houdini Engine plug-ins.
COMPARE APPRENTICE & EDUCATION
Validated students can remove these restrictions of Houdini Apprentice by renting Houdini Education for $75 USD annually. Each Houdini Education license includes 1 Houdini Engine Education, 10 Karma tokens and 10 Mantra tokens.
