First time entering Mardini. Completely changed the concept mid-way through. Today was nerve-wracking but thrilling. I call this piece "Wild Vines".

This is my first work in Houdini.

The goal this time was to create each element from positions and to run the rendering.

One more year of Mardini! Super excited to be back.

I don't have a ton of free time this year, but I’m going to push through all the daily challenges just to keep my Houdini skills sharp. Best of luck to everyone!

Procedural Floral Pig
I used the FLOPS toolset to transform the standard Houdini Pig Head into a complex floral arrangement. By using the pig head as the base growth surface, I generated various procedural plant structures that follow the contours of the geometry.

The centerpiece of the work is a pristine white flower precisely generated at the tip of the nose. The entire scene was assembled in Solaris and rendered using Karma.
