Day 6 - Miniature.
This was such a fun one! It was a great exercise in taking a real world object and breaking it down to its basic shapes. The process was pretty straightforward mostly just curves and extrusions with some booleans and bevels to wrap it up. Really enjoying the challenge so far!

In today's submission I wanted to do something very personal and go for a feminist topic.
This piece is dedicated to the many incredible women working in 3D. While we are on an amazing way and the presence in our industry is growing, we are still unfortunately relatively rare in many areas.
Inequality and misogyny remain challenges that many of my female colleagues and I continue to encounter in everyday work life.
By placing a single set of XX chromosomes among a field of XY chromosomes I wanted to highlight that rarity but also shine a bright light on it and make it glow - such as I want to shine that light on my 3D queens out there ❤️
Sometimes it can be exhausting being a woman in 3D. So if you see this and you know an incredible female artist: Give her art or her profession some extra love today!
