Hi everyone,

Does anyone knows about a short (2 weeks max) houdini course in english?
Europe, US… wherever…
My main interests are particles and dynamics rather than modeling and rendering.
I prefer a certified school by sidefx but if you know the course is good I'll count on your judgement /

Are there 2 week courses held by certified schools for *any* subject?

I'd recommend going with either the 3dbuzz, digital tutors, or cmi vfx materials if all you have is 2 weeks.

3dbuzz sells their stuff on physical media whereas dt and cmi both only do streaming video now.

Escape studios in London do “VFX Production ready” intensive courses that last a matter of weeks I think..

Having said that I'm not 100% sure they do Houdini-centric courses…worth a quick surf though I reckon..

I was trying to coordinate with SideFX in doing something like a 200 or 300 level bootcamp class (5 days or so) like they have for the Introductory Bootcamp.
I would still be interested in this if other people are and if SideFX would be willing.

I was really searching this type of information in last few days.
This information will give me lot of help in near future.
