Hair generation penetrating the mesh

Hello,

My hair generation (after guide_simulate)enterr at certain areas of the mesh. Though the guides have a lot of collision information and none of them penetrate the mesh.

Actually, it seems some strands are growing inside of the mesh.

Did this already happen to someone ? Thanks!

Was having this same issue. Found this that helped:

I was using Fizz on the guides as well. You can apply a texture multiply on the fizz amplitude/intensity to reduce/alleviate problematic parts. It worked for me as the part that was going under actually didn't need fizz. Seems like something that could be handled/detected by the generate node
