Hi,
Have setup HQueue. Main Workstation as Server / Client and 2 other PCs as Clients. Files are shared via NAS. Licensing is via SideFX servers so should 'just work'. Network is all 10G. All HQueue Client and Server Services on all machines have Full Control privileges. Ports 5000, 5001 are opened on all machines.

As far as am aware HQueue is set up correctly, it does render Karma XPU as expected via ROP:

Question 1:
With the above settings it takes a really long time to generate USDs. Around 3min for 10 frames via HQueue, but less than 10s for that same USD generation when Rendering to Disk from Main Workstation. HQueue is distributing that task to Main Workstation so not sure why the huge difference? The logs say this:

I am getting some gibberish in the Render->HIP logs:

I've attached the full log and diagnostic

Question 2:
I cannot get the HQueue Scheduler in TOPs to work. This is the setup I am using:

This fails on PDG Message Queue giving log: " '"%HQPYTHON%"' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.":

Changing "Python" to From HFS:

Changes log message to " '"C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file."

How do I get this working with TOPS? The File Paths can't be wrong because they work in ROPs. Unless some wierd thing like Spacing or something TOPS doesn't like

Question 3:
What are the benefits of using ROP USD > USD Render rather than ROP Fetch? Is one faster than the other when used with Karma XPU?

Question 4:
Does ROP vs TOP have any speed advantages when Rendering with Karma XPU?

Thankyou!

I am getting the same error:
'"%HQPYTHON%"' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I am trying to use hqueuescheduler, did you ever find a solution to your problem? Maybe it can help me too.

Thanks
