Magic Book

After a conversation with Hudson Martins from Axis Studios last year, I was inspired to make a magic effect. I had the idea to make it a book casting a spell for some time, but lacked the time to execute it until recently.

Most texturing was done by the dedicated Ruixuan Pu, with contributions from Lorena Cano.
Layout, lighting, procedural modeling, vellum, pyro, and particle effects, as well as rendering and compositing were done by me. Traditional modeling and additional assets were provided by Ruixuan Pu.
