Hi friends! My name is Felipe Marceu, i`m here to show today a full-CG environment created for a personal project in progress, all made and rendered inside Houdini 18; (except by some Speedtree bushes and shrubs, the texturing of the yucca tree that I`ve made in substance painter, and, the color correction and composition made in Nuke by my very talented friend Luiz Benassi), based on a real location of Red Rock Canyon Desert, I started by a heightfield, many layers and erosions after, I had to create my personalized workflow to deal with the textures and blend the displacements. To the hero Joshua`s tree I`ve done a procedural modeling workflow to generate, bend and scatter the main leaves, generate the trunk in a way that I can bend it on the direction that I want.
