Another RnD test for cloth tearing affect on a complex geometry in Houdini. Effect is procedurally designed, and as is generates shell cloth around arbitrary input geometry automatically, and its controlled with threshold float. This rendering is done via OpenGL node in ROP context and composited in Fusion 7. This animation is RnD for concept scene that I do for my personal learning project.
