ADVANCED PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES | Nov 25/26 or Nov 28/29

Join VFX supervisor Karim Sahai and FX supervisor Maria Sahai, two seasoned professionals as they share their expertise on advanced production techniques used on iconic Hollywood movies. There are two 2-day intensive workshops designed for intermediate and experienced Houdini users, you'll dive into the secrets of creating complex simulations, optimizing caches and render times and streamlining your workflow to meet the demands of high-end productions: 

• Learn how to create reusable setups that can be implemented across dozens of shots 
  
• Discover expert tips on optimizing caches and render times 
  
• Learn how to manage complex scenes and assets using Houdini's procedural tools 
  
• Get an overview of Solaris and Karma and how they are used on the latest Hollywood blockbusters 
  

Prerequisites: 

You will get the most benefits from this workshop if you have experience setting up simulation from scratch without following a tutorial. Can you fracture an object, simulate its destruction, add an explosion, dust and debris? Can you apply a material, create lights and render out the results? Then this workshop is perfect for you! If you don’t have such experience but still want to attend, you are welcome! We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s level of knowledge. We believe you will still be able to learn new tips and tricks that you can use in your workflow.
