The path handle now has a parameter that switches the path handle between:

  • dragging directly in the world space (i.e., setting thepath parameter so that the object sits where the mouseis pointing to on the curve

and

  • dragging in the path domain, by incrementing/decrementingcurrent value of the path parameter proportionally to thedistance the handle has been dragged

To pop-up the handle dialog, right click on the handle ans select "Handle Parameters...", or pres 'P' and choos the handle tab.
