Houdini Main Changelogs

6.2.71

Added the On Name Changed event to the Operator Type Properties Events handler. The associated user defined script is executed whenever an OP node is renamed. The arguments to the script are the same as the events On Created, On Updated, On Deleted, and On Input Changed except that an additional third argument is passed to the script containing the OP node's old name.

6.2.70

When generating IFD's for objects using disk files with motion blur (and having the render perform the shutter blurring) for shutter times less than half a frame, the file names generated in the IFD are now "correct". The filename for the end of the frame is not evaluated at the shutter time, but rather the frame end time. This means that filenames like geo$F.bgeo will now blur correctly for small shutter times.

6.2.70

When generating RIB files of subdivision surfaces with different shaders applied, Houdini needs to output two separate subdivision surface primitives. This creates a dis-continuity that is different than the original surface. This behaviour has been "fixed" so that the resulting separate primitives should now meet correctly at their seam. This behaviour can be turned off (though we believe it is correct) by setting the environment variable HOUDINI_DISCONNECT_RIB_SUBD.
