Houdini Main Changelogs

6.2.42

When generating RIB, the global shading quality multiplier specified in the output driver was being considered twice. This caused incorrect shading rates to be generated in the RIB stream. This has been fixed.

6.2.42

Fixed a problem when Refreshing all Operator Type Libraries when the "Give preference to latest definition" option is turned off. In this case, if two definitions for the same operator type existed in two different libraries, any nodes of that type could revert some of their parameters to the default values.

6.2.42

Null objects are no longer output to RIB or IFD streams by default. There is a new parameter (renderspace) in the Null object which determines whether the space will be defined in the rendering stream.

As well, when nulls are output to RIB or IFD, the pre-include and post-include files can be used to insert black-box statements into the RIB stream around the transform declarations.
