how to render pyro?

I`ve found a very nice example [forums.odforce.net] of pyro effect on odforce, but I can`t figure out how to render it? I added a DOP import node and DOP I/O to bring it to the SOP level, then applied a shader, but still, my render is empty. Any one could help?
