I am stuck with a problem regarding crowds.

I use characters with various clips, imported through FBX formats.

The clips are quite long (around 25 seconds ) but the sequence overall is 2000 frames. The clip are looped with a MotionFx cycle applied to it and that part is working.

The problem I have is every replicate using the same character clip are synchronise even if I specified random time offset in the Crowd State node. I also created a state for each clip and the Crowd state node is added in the simulation network.

I don't inderstand what I am doing wrong.

Thanks for reading and maybe helping!

Sorry I don't have an answer, but maybe the link to this tutorial might work:

Note that this tutorial was from 2 years ago and doesn't use the new H14 crowd tools.

If possible post a simplified hip file, it'll make debugging easier (or email support with it if privacy is an issue).

Setting Random Time Offset to a non zero value should randomize the clip time. You can also see what's the current clip time/info in geometry spreadsheet->Attributes: clip*. That will show you all the relavent animation data that is being used.
