Hi there!
From time to time it happens to me in certain files that when I cancel a sim mid-sequence, that not only does it cancel the sim as intended but it also looses all cached prior frames so I can't scrub back in time. I can't track down what causes this, it seems random but is persistent once I have it in a file. Close and re-open Houdini or Windows does nothing. Even using a fresh solver does nothing to fix it. Anyone knows about this issue?

Hey Ben,

I don't know about the issue, but make sure your cache size is big enough.

Hi CYTE,
Thanks for your tip, it's not about the cachesize though sadly. It will cache all frames fine until I cancel the sim inbetween then they are lost. It works fine when I cache the entire sequence into RAM and not cancel at some point...
