Hi!
I exported textures from Substance Painter to Houdini for an animated creature, but I ran into a problem: when the model moves, the textures start shifting out of place.
What is the correct way to set them up so that they stay in place during animation? I remember finding information on this issue before, but now I can't seem to find it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

raincoleI'm using an Alembic file with already animated geometry and applied UV unwrapping directly in Houdini. Then exported the model to Substance Painter.
Are you sure your model in Houdini has the proper UV?
And if so, maybe you accidentally changed the UV during animation?
I understand there should be a way to fix the UV so that the textures stay in place while the geometry is moving?

It should be easy. Just use TimeShift SOP to fix your geo at first frame, UV unwrap that static geo, and Attribute Copy the uv from static geo to animated geo.
