Hello,
i have installed sidefx houdini apprentice on my linux mint computer. i first installed the sidefxlauncher and installed Houdini latest production and sidefx-labs over the launcher. All runs well but when i want to use the exoside quadremesher i get an error when i want to activate the tool. it write something about an old version and i should install the newest version of the tool. So i downloaded the latest version of quadremesher from the exoside website. The documentation describes that this must copied in the folder where the old version is. But i can't find it. I have on here /home/mike/houdini21.0/otls and then here /opt/sidefx/sidefx_packages/SideFXLabs21.0/platform_specific/linux/otls/labs_8_8Sop_1exoside__quadremesher_8_81.0.

But even when i delete the old and replace it with the new version, i get still the 1.2 verson of the activator. So i deleted both old quadremesher from the folders above and the tool appears in houdini. So there must be anywhere a copy of this. Has anybody an idea how i get to update this tool, so i can activate it?

Thanks for the tip. it seems that i can`t use extern hdas in the apprentice version. so i must wait, until sidefx implement the newer version of the exoside quadremesher.
