Hi all,
I’m running a Vellum cloth sim in Houdini 20.5. When I increase the substeps to improve collision accuracy, the cloth suddenly explodes at the start of the simulation.
I’ve checked scale, collision objects, and constraints.
Lower substeps make it stable but collisions aren’t accurate enough.
Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a common setting I might be missing, or a workaround to keep the sim stable at higher substeps?

Why start another thread for the same issue?

At least post some screenshots for the graph/parameters if a scene file isn't possible.
