File node not showing in the Renderview

This is a simple test to see how an imported OBJ renders in Houdini
The Loop GEO contains the file node. The ball GEO contains Houdini's standard sphere
As you can see, the renderview does not see the object, but it does recognise houdini's sphere.
What setting do I need to add/change so the renderview shows the file node containing the link to the object?

Thanks. I resolved it by adding a material node after the file node.
