SESI will post details on future versions of Houdini when SESI determines its appropriate to do so. Announcing features prematurely can cause backlash and bad press in the event that they don't make it into the release. When SESI is confident with the features they'll let us know. Until that time be patient and continue to provide feedback, because they do listen.

i have read about this training course and i was curious was/is houdini 9.5 under development or is there a typo in the article?

Houdini 9.5 is going into public beta in early June. The specific features will be announced at that time. The course will be giving a more indepth overview of the new tools.

Okay if I survive, SideFX has to be pretty cool. Otherwise this is a totalitarian regime.
