and is there anyway to run windows commands (MS DOS) in a loop with the Generic Generator and the Generic range generator?

It is very unstable, I cannot see my heightfield anymore, I can just work with the mesh version I did from it. I used vdb to do mask. Could it be a reason for it? Except when doing flow, Heightfield are float arrays.

Graphics card problems disappeared with version 20: no explanation. I changed nothing on my computer or settings.

I am using a Nvidia Quadro K6000, I cannot run heightfields and heightfield_noises with Houdini 20. So I am using Houdini 19.5???

I would like to instance animated objects on a grid with the stage instance. I would like to say which frame of the animation I will use per grid point.
How shall I proceed?
I am thinking to create as many variants as frames, is there any other way?

Hi
Is there anyway I can acces my licence when I am offline. My wifi adapter wasn't running anymore, I rebooted my computer, I couldn't access to the web anymore, so I couldn't run houdini indie anymore, I couldn't finish my renders.
Is there a way to work if you cannot connect to the web? I am running houdini 19.5

There are several options in the popCollisionDetect for the Collision Target that I never used:
Where can I find examples to use the pop collision detect with a relationship option like target or sink and examples to use it with the Dop objects option? How does it work with those options?

It still not obvious:
I would like to bake an expression, to smooth the values and to reuse it on a channel.
I tried the channels and keyfrmaes -> Bake Keyframes
It bakes something but it was all zero (not good)
I tried create chop, fetch the channel, reshape with a spline.
Than I would like to bring it back. How can I do?
I looked at channel but it brings array of channel on points, but does not seem to enable import of one channel. (geo/sop level or dopnet/null level are the channels I would like to modify).
How can I do?

The problem is that then you have to interface field3d files with houdini. If I write directly in a houdini format, then I can reopen the files in houdini without having to write an importer. I just have to write exporters.
Definitely, albeit volumes were never implemented in the GPD library. Field3d GEO_Translator is a part [sidefx.com] of HDK examples, so it shouldn't be that hard. Other than that, you are alone with custom reader for volumes in new json based format…

Nope. Moreover, it's depreciated all together. As of H12, there is a new geometry library. Houdini can write to the old format though with *.h(b)classic extension, but I'm not sure if this is best idea. How about field3d?
