You can throw in a wildcard( * ) to separate the horizontal_front_back.
So if you put @path=/wooden_crate_*/horizontal_front_back/crate_wood/crate_wood_shape
it should separate out the geometry you need. Attached a file with an example. Hope it helps

You need to add a velocity vector to the source geometry, or you could add a normal and use that as your velocity. If you do, you need to set the source attribute to be the normal(N).
In the fluid source node you can turn on the visualization of the velocity under the velocity volumes tab.

Hey
I have a problem using the gl viewport in houdini 12, I'm using the latest production build. My problem is that when I start a new houdini session with gl turned on it works fine, but if I save the session and close houdini and start it up again I get a fatal error(segmentation fault). If i use houdini 11 viewport it works fine. I've installed the latest drivers, but nothing seems to work.
I'm running window 7 on a Intel Xeon 2.4 GHz
Houdini Master Version 12.0.634
Platform: windows-x86_64-cl15
Number of Cores: 24
Physical Memory: 11.99 GB
OpenGL Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL Renderer: Quadro 4000/PCIe/SSE2
OpenGL Version: 4.2.0
OpenGL Shading Language: 4.20 NVIDIA via Cg compiler
Detected: NVidia Professional
2048 MB
Unknown driver version
Anybody else have this issue. I also noticed that houdini don't recognise my drivers. Can this have something to do with the crashes?
Any help would be useful
Thanks

Sorry,
I didn't fully explain what i wanted. If i sort by just one axis the curve would get jagged towards the center. I need it to be a smooth curve all around like the way the arrows flow.

Hi everybody.
I have a problem I can't solve. I need to sort a given number of points in one direction.
The plan is to attach a curve to the point.

Helllo
Is there any way to get the orbit node to keep the particles position i Y but still rotate around a center axis? I have sort of solved the problem, but the particles wont't hold there place and they slide out of orbit.
